My relationship with LUSH Cosmetics goes back almost three years now. I started using before it was in Milwaukee and it started off slow. Granted my first purchase was $130, it still started slow.
When it came to Milwaukee, I didn't purchase right away. I sampled Fresh Farmacy and still had my large Ocean Salt Scrub. Like I said, it was a slow but serious relationship.
Then I got the job and the full time hours. All of my products were switched over to LUSH within the last year and a half. I even started using products I never used before or didn't even know they existed. Like hair masks, toner, solid lotion, foot masks, face masks, eye cream and even lotion. Before this love affair, I was never in the habit of putting lotion on and I used Suave haircare.
It's an addiction. I have pounds of soap stocked up and up to 50 different bath products stocked up. My china cabinet soon became a LUSH store. This situation made the perfect set up for my Self-deprivation Assignment. Although I work with the product and constantly touch the product while showing customers, I will be transforming my shower. Specifically my haircare, skincare (face and body), body wash and lotions. In JMC 307 Joette asked what I gave up for this assignment and after my response there was a loud gasp from the classroom.
Here is before and after in my shower.

Nooooo!! You have morecontrol than I.
ReplyDeleteI really am thoroughly impressed with you, Carissa. This would be far to hard for me...
ReplyDeleteWow, your giving up Lush?? Now when I see you, I wont be able to say "mmm, you smell like Lush" :) Well maybe if I see you right after you leave work...
ReplyDelete-LEah
Leah, it's only for a week for an assignment for my research class. =)
ReplyDeleteI will still smell like LUSH coming out of work, just like you said.
This assignment is actually making me realize I don't think I could ever really truly stop using LUSH...
